Gefen Dual Link DVI FM 2500 Extender - prodloužení Dual link DVI po optice EXT-DVI-FM2500

Gefen EXT-DVI-FM2500 s podporou viruálního EDID prodlužuje Dual-Link DVI až na vzdálenost 1000 metrů do DVI displeje s rozlišením až 3840x2400 (WQXGA) . Extender používá dvouvláknový 50/125µm multimode (OM3) optický kabel s SC konektory.
Optický signál mezi příjmačem a vysílačem je ZCELA galvanicky oddělený a zcela imuní vůči elektormagnetickým interferencím  v porovnání s podobným řešení na metalické bázi. Kromě běžných instalací lze použít i v náročných provozech , dohledových center v elektrárnách , pro lékařské a laboratorní přístroje apod a také tam, kde je vzdálenost mezi zobrazovací jednotkou vyšší, než metalické extendery zvládnou ( obvykle do 50m ) , tento převodník umožňuje vzdálenost až 1 kilometr.

The Virtual EDID feature programs the display EDID into the Sender module to ensure fast integration and compatibility between the source and the display.
The attractive and compact Sender and Receiver modules fit neatly behind the equipment for a clean installation, making it a great way to extend dual-link DVI.

Note: The Sender module does not need to be powered externally unless the source does not supply enough power through the DVI connector.
